It’s become clear in recent years that Democrats have lost complete and utter respect for the Bible and for the Christian principles that the United States was built upon. Even though many still claim they are Christian, their actions speak the truth.
They’re breaking one of the Ten Commandments on a regular basis – thou shall not steal.
No, we’re not talking about shoplifting or planning jewelry heists. However, they are thieves of time.
As a result of stealing time, businesses across the US are losing $650 billion a year due to a loss of productivity. People seem to be doing everything BUT working these days.
Have you ever taken a longer-than-usual break at work? Played a game at your desk? Hung around a co-worker’s cubicle to talk about your weekend plans? These are all examples of how you’re stealing from your employer. They’re paying you to do your job – and you’re not doing it.
Ephesians 4:28 calls us to live a life of integrity. This is an important call that we must heed. And while there will be times when we unintentionally steal time, we must strive to do better.
The problem is that the Democrats help to promote an identity that is not very Christian. They are content with flushing integrity and tenacity down the drain. They forget that hard work can establish discipline and grit. It allows us to be more focused and more honest about how we earn our living.
SNAP, Medicare, Welfare, and countless other programs have been established by the Democratic Party so that people can steal. They don’t bother with teaching discipline and grit. Instead, they steal from hard-working Americans to give to those who simply don’t want to work.
Originally, Welfare was established as a result of the Great Depression by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was never intended to be generational. It was never intended to allow people to steal from the government.
Stealing is a result of people being lazy, self-centered, and inconsiderate.
Let’s think about that for a moment. Most people who are on the various welfare programs are perfectly capable of working. They don’t, however, because the Democrats are okay with allowing people to steal. They will support the lazy and the self-centered. And as a result, our taxpayer dollars go to those who refuse to help themselves instead of on things that can help everyone – such as public education, infrastructure, healthcare, and the military.
We must remember what the Bible says about thieves and how it can apply to the Democratic Party. In John 10:10, it reads, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Perhaps we need to remember why it is that we have to work so hard. It allows us to live a life of integrity. And if we get more Republicans in power, perhaps they can start to instill that in more of the American people.
