In a tale that sounds more like a poorly written soap opera than real life, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz allegedly had a “secret fling” with Jenna Wang, the daughter of a high-ranking Chinese Communist Party official, during his teaching stint in China in the 1980s. Wang, now in her fifties, alleges that the Democrat vice presidential nominee lavished her with gifts and flattery, but ultimately left her feeling “like a prostitute” rather than the cherished partner she had hoped to be.
Wang revealed to the Daily Mail that she was just 24 when Walz pulled out all the stops to seduce her. The catch? Public displays of affection were a no-go. Apparently, her father, Bin Hui, would have disowned her faster than you can say “diplomatic incident.” Talk about a romantic pickle!
Wang said she believed Walz was genuinely in love and even fantasized about a life together in the U.S., complete with marriage and kids. But when reality hit, and Walz didn’t propose, she found herself “deeply unhappy” and “sad.” She painted Walz’s behavior as the ultimate in selfishness.
In her dramatic recounting, she stated they spent hours talking and getting intimate, all while she had to live by the stifling social norms of Communist China. Wang shared, “I could never stay overnight” because, of course, her father would’ve had a meltdown.
When she brought up their future and her desire to move to the U.S., Walz allegedly suggested she was only after a passport. Wang was clearly looking for love, not just a ticket to Nebraska—though who could blame her? After learning he wasn’t interested in tying the knot, she felt “cheap and common” because why wouldn’t a high-ranking official’s daughter want to settle down with a small-town guy in a cold, obscure state?
It seems Walz’s past may not be the glittering golden resume he hoped for. According to Wang, Walz’s lacks the “character and integrity” needed for a role as critical as Vice President.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio didn’t hold back either, stating that if this story is true, it raises serious questions about Walz’s ties to the CCP. Because, you know, voters absolutely deserve to know about any secret romances that could, just maybe, compromise national integrity.
As the Harris-Walz campaign remains mum on the whole mess, one thing’s for sure: this “secret fling” isn’t going away quietly.
