Iran War Is A Distraction – Why Is No One Talking About THIS?

The missiles are flying, the cable news chyrons are glowing red, and every talking head in America has suddenly become a four-star armchair general. Iran this, Iran that. Strikes, counterstrikes, satellite imagery, and Wolf Blitzer doing his best impression of a man who just discovered caffeine.

And while the entire country stares at the Middle East like it’s the season finale of a show nobody asked for, something absolutely critical is dying quietly in the corner. No headlines. No outrage. No panel discussions.

Election integrity just got shoved into the basement, and nobody seems to care.

Trump Got Iran Right — But That’s Not the Whole Story

Let’s get this out of the way first: Trump was right to hit Iran. Dead right. The man looked at the world’s most prolific state sponsor of terrorism — a regime racing toward nuclear capability — and did what Churchill would have done. He didn’t send a strongly worded letter. He didn’t convene a summit. He brought the hammer.

Wayne Allyn Root laid it out perfectly: Neville Chamberlain played nice with Hitler, and 60 million people died. Six trillion dollars — from the U.S. alone — went up in smoke. Churchill would have ended it early. Trump is playing that same long game with Iran, and history will thank him for it.

And let’s never forget who built this monster. Barack Obama handed Iran $150 billion. That’s billion with a B. He essentially bankrolled Frankenstein’s lab, then acted surprised when the creature started killing people. Every rocket, every proxy war, every dead American soldier tied to Iranian funding — that’s on Obama’s tab. Trump is just cleaning up the mess.

So yes, finish the job. No half-measures.

Here’s Where It Gets Stupid

The Iran conflict has become what Root brilliantly calls a “Weapon of Mass Distraction.” It’s eating every molecule of oxygen in the political atmosphere. Meanwhile, the single most important issue facing the Republican Party — the one thing that determines whether any of this even matters in two years — is gathering dust like a forgotten gym membership.

Voter ID. The SAVE America Act. Election integrity. Remember those?

The SAVE Act was supposed to be the crown jewel of election reform. Voter photo ID, proof of citizenship for in-person voting, the whole nine yards. It was in the headlines. People were fired up. Senators were getting phone calls.

Then Iran happened, and poof — gone. Like a magician’s rabbit, except the rabbit was your constitutional republic.

The Machines Are the Problem

Here’s a fun thought experiment. The biggest casinos in Las Vegas — billion-dollar operations with security systems that would make the Pentagon blush — have been hacked. Credit card companies, banks, even U.S. government agencies have been hacked. But sure, let’s keep trusting voting machines. What could go wrong?

China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, George Soros’s army of activists — pick your poison. Any one of them could be inside these systems. And we’re just supposed to shrug and move on because Anderson Cooper told us elections are “the most secure in history.”

Trump already signed an executive order tightening mail-in ballot rules — requiring Social Security verification, proof of citizenship, barcoded ballots. That was a solid move. But as Root points out, that only covers mail-in voting. Walk into a polling place in half the country, and you can still vote with less identification than it takes to buy a beer.

Three Executive Orders That Could Save the Republic

Root is calling on Trump to sign three more executive orders, and frankly, he should have signed them yesterday.

First: mandate voter photo ID and proof of citizenship for all in-person federal voting. Get it signed now so the inevitable Democrat lawsuits start their journey to the Supreme Court before the midterms, not after.

Second: end machine voting. Paper ballots. Period. You can’t hack a piece of paper. Every other serious country on earth figured this out. We’re the ones still pretending digital voting is a good idea, like we learned nothing from the last decade of cybersecurity disasters.

Third: ban ballot harvesting and drop boxes. These practices aren’t allowed in virtually any other democracy on the planet because everyone else recognizes them for what they are — an open invitation to fraud. But in America, we call them “voter access.” The only thing they access is the ability to manufacture results.

The Midterms Are Everything

Here’s the cold math that should keep every Republican up at night: if the GOP loses the midterms, the Trump agenda is dead. Not wounded. Not slowed. Dead. Impeachment proceedings will start before the confetti hits the floor. Every executive order gets challenged. Every reform gets buried. Election integrity becomes a pipe dream forever.

Iran matters. National security matters. But you can’t secure the nation if you can’t secure the ballot box. A stolen election hands the keys right back to the people who funded Iran in the first place.

Trump didn’t tiptoe around the mullahs, and he shouldn’t tiptoe around this either. Sign the orders, Mr. President. Let the Democrats howl. Let the lawsuits fly. Get it to the Supreme Court with time to spare.

Because the real war isn’t eight thousand miles away. It’s right here, in every precinct, at every polling station, on every unsecured machine in America. And right now, we’re losing it — not to bombs, but to silence.
