Hero Marine on Trial for His Life After Protecting Women from a Crazy Armed Hobo

You may remember the incident from May 2023 when a stinky hobo boarded a Manhattan-bound subway train and started threatening to kill the women passengers. The hobo’s name was Jordan Neely. A former US Marine on the train, Daniel Penny, tussled with Neely to prevent him from hurting or killing anyone. Penny, a true American hero, put Neely in a chokehold and Neely later died. But because this happened in New York—a state that kills pet squirrels—Penny is now on trial on murder charges. The prosecution started calling witnesses this week.

In case anyone has missed the point of this case, the prosecution has repeatedly referred to the victim in the case as “Jordan” and has referred to Daniel Penny as “the white man.” Penny is facing charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. It would have been more honest if New York had charged him with “Being Brave While White.”

The case should have been dismissed by the judge on the first day, based on the evidence that was presented. Jordan Neely was not dead when the police arrived. They gave him a shot of Narcan because it was obvious to them that Neely was dying from a drug overdose and not from being choked by Daniel Penny. Neely then expired, but police officers refused to do CPR on him because he was a disgusting, stanky hobo. They thought they’d catch hepatitis or something worse if they gave him mouth-to-mouth.

How is this a murder trial, based on those facts? That’s a serious question.

The similarities to George Floyd’s death are striking. George Floyd was a career criminal. So was Jordan Neely. He had a long track record of arrests for violent assaults and other crimes. Both men were drug addicts. George Floyd died with enough fentanyl in his system to kill a horse. Jordan Neely also died of a drug overdose.

George Floyd once held a gun to a pregnant woman’s belly and threatened to murder her and her baby during a home invasion robbery. Jordan Neely made verbal threats to kill several women on the subway before Daniel Penny tussled with him.

In an incident that was never reported, George Floyd was revived by paramedics in the ambulance while being transported to the hospital. He was dead by the time he got to the hospital, but he did not die because of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin restraining him. Likewise, Jordan Neely was not dead when police arrived and Daniel Penny released him from a chokehold.

Even if Penny had flat-out killed Neely during this encounter, we should all be celebrating him as a hero. If you’re a disgusting lunatic drug addict threatening to kill women on the subway, you’ve forfeited the right to be a part of our civilization. We shouldn’t put up with this garbage any longer.

When are we going to stop persecuting the Good Samaritans in our society like this? Jordan Neely was not some gentle black man who ran into a violent white supremacist, which is how the prosecution is trying to present the case. Neely was a psychopath on drugs threatening to kill people.

If Daniel Penny is found guilty on all charges, he could face more than 15 years in prison. He probably will be found guilty, since this is the same New York City that has prosecuted Donald Trump and found him guilty on bogus charges. Daniel Penny is a hero. The judge should drop this case and dismiss the charges with prejudice.
