The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been diverting funds intended to help Americans to instead pamper Joe Biden’s never-ending hordes of criminal illegal aliens. FEMA has been sending most of its operational cash to help Democrat-run cities like New York and Denver so they can coddle the illegals even further. A program called the “Shelter and Services Program” has now seen to it that the agency is broke and doesn’t have enough cash on hand to help Americans through what is expected to be a busy hurricane season.
In 2023, the program gave $363.8 million to Democrat-run cities. This year, FEMA has doled out almost $650 million to the same cities. It will be too bad for people in Galveston if a hurricane wipes out their homes since FEMA is out of money for the rest of the year.
There’s no problem that the federal government can’t make worse by spending more of your tax dollars on it, however! To alleviate the problem, FEMA has requested a 725% increase in funding for the Shelter and Services Program for 2024. That works out to $3 billion for next year.
If the illegal alien crisis continues to explode at the same pace into a second Biden-Harris term, it would mean the agency’s cash-for-illegals nonsense would cost Americans $21.7 in 2026 and $157.1 billion in 2027.
In case it’s lost on anyone reading this, you are being further enslaved and indebted to pay the living expenses of millions of people who have no right to be here. The illegals that have flooded in so far are the reason why young Americans can no longer afford to rent their apartment. Funds should not be diverted to pay for living expenses of the invaders; they should be diverted to deport them all back home.
