Federal agents stormed Gracie Mansion—the home of New York City Mayor Eric Adams—on Thursday morning. A grand jury indictment against Adams was unsealed. The news that Adams had been indicted broke on Wednesday evening and the internet was swirling with rumors that it was related to the P. Diddy investigation somehow. That wasn’t it at all. Mayor Adams has been indicted by the Biden Justice Department on charges of accepting foreign bribes. A cynical person might remember that this is the same crime that Joe Biden has been committing for decades.
The indictment charges Adams with conspiracy, wire fraud, bribery, and solicitation of contributions by foreign nationals. His attorney says that federal agents showed up at Adams’s home once again to make a big scene for the media and to seize his phone for a second time. Adams vehemently denies the charges.
Adams was always a lousy cop (by all accounts) when he was working at the NYPD. Everyone knew back in the 1990s that was one of those creepy people who is attracted to politics. It was no secret to any of his co-workers that Adams planned to become the mayor of New York City one day. It took him almost 30 years, but he did it finally in 2022.
Lots of foreign nationals knew that Adams planned to run for mayor as well. The indictment alleges that they hedged their bets by making illegal contributions to Adams to advance his political career. The countries he is accused of taking bribes from include Turkey, Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea, and Uzbekistan.
Prosecutors say that Adams started taking the foreign cash back in 2014. Once he was elected mayor, they say that the foreigners started cashing in on those favors, and Adams was all too happy to comply. The indictment says that Adams has been “providing favorable treatment in exchange for the illicit benefits he received.”
An obvious question that comes to mind is why are the feds indicting Eric Adams for this? Everyone on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee takes foreign bribes. Joe Biden and his crooked family of perverts and weirdoes have made a career out of it. The $10 million in gifts and bribes that Adams received is dwarfed by the amount of cash that the Bidens raked in by selling out American foreign policy. According to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC), Joe and Jill Biden took in more than $44 million from foreign countries. (And that was just the “10 percent for the Big Guy.”)
So, why is Eric Adams in hot water now, for doing the same thing that so many politicians in both parties do all the time?
The answer is that Joe Biden is a petty and vindictive emotional toddler, and he always has been. He’s like a psychopathic child who will burn his parents’ house down if they don’t let him play video games for an extra hour. Just ask the poor January 6 people who protested Biden’s illegitimate “victory” in the stolen 2020 election.
When Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris first started to flood New York City with illegal aliens, Adams recognized the danger that it posed and he spoke out about it. He warned the city council that Biden’s policies would “destroy” New York City (and he was right).
That enraged Joe Biden. He immediately kicked Eric Adams off his reelection steering committee. Think about how rare it is for a Democrat to kick the Democrat Mayor of New York City—a very important city in Democrat politics—off his reelection team. That wasn’t enough, though. Joe Biden also had Merrick Garland put Adams under investigation and now they’ll throw the book at him.
We’re not excusing Adams from the charges he’s accused of. But understand that this isn’t about political corruption. It’s about Joe Biden’s revenge before he finally exits the political stage.
