When does enough become enough? If anyone can claim to have never reached the proverbial breaking point where the rubber band snaps and flames start shooting from their every orifice, their integrity will immediately be called into serious question.
We’ve all been there. And we’ll reach that point again. And again…But you would be in error to blame any such politically induced sudden fits of rage on what everyone keeps insisting is your inability to control yourself and/or your temper.
That kind of malarky can be cleared up by having them answer the two following simple questions. 1. “Have you ever seen the Speaker of the House?” 2. “Have you ever listened to her?” Boom! Everything you’ve ever said and/or done will become suddenly justified.
It kind of appears like the entire Republican party has had all they can take of Nancy Pelosi’s shenanigans, so with reference to the snapping rubber band, this time around they are doing something other than complaining and tipping back bottles of Pepto.
Ms. Nancy is going to have her day in court, but not at her own request. The Republican Party is going to sue the bland colored high collar business suit right off of her wrinkled in all the wrong places body, which we can only pray does not literally happen. Yuck…
Nancy Pelosi is under the false impression, as she is on all matters, that somehow allowing mail-in voter cards to recklessly float through every United States Post Office in America, from podunk one-horse towns to enormous metropolises, would be an okey-dokey thing to do. What could possibly go wrong?
Pelosi has been trying to push some bogus statistics concerning the low percentages of voter fraud ever being detected. But this makes no earthly sense at all. They were not detected because the overwhelming majority of fraudulent votes slide right on through America’s faulty system. The one Donald J. Trump will fix if the do-nothing Democrats would get out of his way and let the man do the job we the people hired him to do.
But this isn’t the kicker. This is not where the lawsuit as yet comes into play even though it could have just as easily been. It wasn’t until Pelosi broke the camel’s back by further politicizing the pandemic with her unfounded voter rhetoric when she announced a bill that would allow the House of Representatives to vote by proxy for a period of 45 days.
So while America is being called back to work, and willingly and thankfully going, Nancy Pelosi feels what’s good for the paupers is not necessarily good enough for her and her sweet delicate Democrat constituents who are refusing to lead by example.
That’s a far cry worse than our president not wearing a mask. Just saying…While Donald Trump is encouraging America to get our economic lifeblood pumping again, Pelosi in her continuing efforts to dethrone the king in November is encouraging the opposite by advocating we continue hiding in our basements.
The Dems also want to be able to attend committee meetings virtually so nobody can tell the only thing they’re paying attention to is the Andy Griffith rerun playing in the background while they’re sitting in the comfort of their homes sipping Whiteclaws and doing what they always do. Nothing.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had these steam-filled words for Pelosi, “This week, House Democrats will break over 230 years of precedent and allow Members of Congress to vote by proxy on the House floor.” “This is not simply arcane parliamentary procedure. It is a brazen violation of the Constitution, a dereliction of our duty as elected officials, and would silence the American people’s voice during a crisis. Although I wish this matter could have been solved on a bipartisan basis, the stakes are too high to let this injustice go unaddressed. That is why, along with other members of the House and our constituents, I have filed a lawsuit in federal court to overturn Speaker Pelosi’s unconstitutional power grab.”
“The speaker’s reckless and partisan decision to adopt proxy voting was done despite unified opposition from the minority and even members of her own party. This is a serious matter that will damage the integrity of the House’s actions now and in the future.”
So. There you have it. See you in court Ms. Pelosi. You’re about to get the legal slaughtering you’ve had coming for way too long. See ‘ya. Wouldn’t want to be ‘ya.
