Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida continues to ruffle the feathers of the Left. She recently ripped into the Washington Post for an article intended to smear her reputation. The paper was forced to issue a retraction.

The article said that Luna had a history of identifying as different ethnicities based on what she felt would serve her interests. They also said that she lied about her upbringing.

Rep. Luna fired off a series of tweets going after the Post on Thursday.

“Holy s*** the Washington post just tried to claim my dad was never incarcerated, left out comments from my mom, said I was a registered Democrat, and did not report a convo they had with a former roommate, and interviewed ‘family’ I don’t talk to. This is comical,” she tweeted.

Luna also denied other claims that were made in the article and she posted pictures that refuted or contradicted some of the claims.

The Post buckled and issued this retraction, “A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Anna Paulina Luna was registered as a Democrat in Washington state in 2017 based on an erroneous voter registration database. Washington state only requires voters to declare their party affiliation when they cast a ballot in a presidential primary.”

Rep. Luna said she is ready to go further with The Washington Post and may pursue legal action if they fail to make even more corrections, saying that the Left hates conservative minorities.

She tweeted that she is ready to post receipts and that letters are being sent from her attorneys to The Post asking them to issue corrections or there will be lawsuits.

She is also sending the same to Vanity Fair, Business Insider, Yahoo News, Independent, and any other outlet that reports false information.

Rep. Luna is also planning to go on Fox News to address the story.
