Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has had enough of the media hypocrisy and he is finally doing something about it. It’s high time that someone stepped up to the plate to call out the reporters who shamelessly defend Big Tech. The “hacked information” guidelines are currently drawing his ire and it is easy to understand why.
The governor is laying it all out for everyone. “You’re trying to tell me if there was hacked information that could damage me, you wouldn’t print it? Give me a break. You can whiz on my leg, but don’t tell me it’s raining,” he said. That’s understandable enough. It’s not like he is wrong with what he is saying.
The mainstream media is sure to take offense, though. They do not like it when they are questioned directly about their nonsensical claims. The New York Post published a piece that established a strong connection between Hunter Biden and his father’s illegal business ventures. Twitter decided that this information could not be released to the general public.
Any other time, they are fine with the New York Post telling everyone how to feel. Once this article started to circulate, they became very concerned about hacked and stolen materials. These are not concerns that they ever seemed to have when Trump was in office but we digress. Many Twitter users took notice of this hypocritical behavior.
“Remember when Twitter locked The New York Post out of their account for weeks because they reported on a real story involving Hunter Biden?” tweeted Shem Horne. We are right there with you, man. Business Insider says that the Post story was shared hundreds of thousands of times before the executive decision was made to reduce the distribution.
Andy Stone also decided to call out the Post at the time. “While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want to be clear that this story is eligible to be fact-checked by Facebook’s third-party fact-checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform,” he said. He went on to share proof to back up his claim.
This is something that the left is not familiar with. They cry first and ask questions later. If you would like to see the full response from the Florida governor, the whole video is a great watch. There are so few people left out there who are willing to tell the truth about what really goes on. That’s why it is important to share this clip.
We need to make sure that the truth is still being spoken in public before it is too late. Biden and his cronies are doing everything in their power to make conservatives nervous about speaking their minds. Every day, it seems like anyone who has even the most tangential connection to Trump is being targeted by the mainstream media. That’s because they are not the least bit interested in reconciliation.
The governors of states that are not known for being the most sympathetic to Democrats are always going to be targeted by the media. The mass media is controlled by the type of people who do not want the truth to be spoken. The George Soros types are always going to muddle the conversation by silencing anyone who does not agree with them. We wish that this were not the truth but people need to wake up and smell the coffee…if they have not already.
Being attentive in this country means noticing things that you do not always want to see. It’s not always an easy task. We understand why so many people are willing to stick their heads in the sand. Those who ignore the world around them tend to be a bit less informed but that’s a fine trade-off for them. As for the rest of us, it is time to strengthen our resolve and prepare for what the next four years are about to bring.
