Despite the best efforts of Arkansas conservatives, on July 29th, a law that prevents indecent material from being provided to minors was struck down by a federal judge. US District Judge Timothy L. Brooks was behind the preliminary injunction. With an effective date for the law of August 1st, he was under the gun and denied the people of Arkansas the right to keep their children safe.

Signed off by Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the law would levy criminal charges against librarians and booksellers for providing indecent or illicit material to minors. Under the law, a new process to challenge the classification of different books would have been created, and those books would need to be placed in a restricted area.

Challenged by a whole coalition of liberal groups and their followers, the Central Arkansas Library System in Little Rock was at the helm of the charge. They were concerned that the law would make librarians and booksellers hesitant to order or stock any book that was being challenged.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin issued a statement via email following the judge’s ruling. In it, he vowed that he and his office would be “reviewing the judge’s opinion and will continue to vigorously defend the law.” While this is good to hear, the people of Arkansas need him and other conservative leaders to make this a massive priority. The children of their state are being poisoned by this latest liberal scheme to poison the minds and spirits of children.

Given the amount of child exploitation that has occurred as a result of their lack of action, the liberals are intentionally doing this to our kids. Yet they have poisoned so many good Americans with their lies, it has been allowed to go unchecked for years. In 2023 the American people are waking up and saying, “No more!!” Thanks for helping to lead the charge, Arkansas.
