The Democratic Party is fractured to the core because of their beloved president Joe Biden. On one side of the room, the progressives love the man to death because he is giving them everything their Islamic hearts desire. And then on the other side are the moderates. And they are the ones that cannot get behind what the president wants to do to the country. Every other Democrat is so blinded by greed and power that they vote party lines without ever considering the consequences of their choices.
But one moderate named Joe Manchin leads the pack and tells Joe Biden that he cannot push $3.5 trillion on people. Manchin is not in favor of the bill, and it looks he never will be because the people he represents do not want it to pass.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hates Manchin and how he sees the president trojan bill. She believes that he should vote in favor of it because it gives her everything she wants in the horrible infrastructure deal. But for Manchin, the price tag is way too high.
Ocasio-Cortez accused Manchin in her infamous tweet that “Manchin has weekly huddles w/ Exxon & is one of many senators who gives lobbyists their pen to write so-called ‘bipartisan’ fossil fuel bills. It’s killing people. Our people. At least 12 last night. Sick of this ‘bipartisan’ corruption that masquerades as clear-eyed moderation.”
She accuses him of jumping in bed with big oil and lobbyists. But she cannot see past the nose on her face because he represents the will of the people and not the will of the politician.
Manchin came out on media to set the record straight about what the witchy Ocasio-Cortez was trying to write about. Manchin has an open-door policy, and anyone can talk with him. He also notes that he does not have secret meetings with people. He stated that the little toddler wants to keep dividing people.
He also said that “I don’t know that young lady that well. I really don’t. I have met her one time, I think, between sets here. But that’s it. So we have not had any conversations. She just speculating and saying things because she wants to.”
The revelation from Manchin shows that AOC makes speculative comments based nothing on fact. It is all her own opinion. Nothing that she says can be trusted.
One report tried to mention that “When pressed on Sunday by Bash on criticism from a number of Democrats that Manchin is opposing the bill because he is ‘bought and paid for by corporate donors,’ the senator said he is against the legislation ‘because it makes no sense at all.’”
Reports like the one against Manchin do not seem to faze him. He knows that he is not going to be famous for his stance against Biden. But he knows he works for the people that voted for him and ultimately the entire region he represents.
$3.5 trillion is way too high of a price for Manchin. But it certainly is something the AOC is willing to pay. After all, she is not the one that will have to deal with the massive inflation that will entail all because of a bill that was laced with socialist poison.
The Democrats are trying to sprint forward at a time when the economy is still recovering and people are still without work. Manchin believes that to forge ahead haphazardly is foolish. He said, “The vulnerability that we have, Dana, right now we don’t know what happen with this [sic] Covid, it’s awful, coming back the way it is with a vengeance, we don’t know about inflation…and on top of that, the challenges we’re going to have, geopolitical challenges, shouldn’t we be prepared?”
There are just so many things that the liberals are not thinking through. $3.5 trillion is way too much for the moderate to stomach. So, for the time being, he is standing with every Republican against the bill. Biden is willing to move forward without the support of one conservative. He may talk of unity, but he supports division.
